Moody Sees one-day series to be a learning curve

Tom Moody, the coach of Sri Lanka believes the up-coming one-day series between Sri Lanka and England will prove to be a trial series for new players trying to land a spot for the Cricket World Cup in Barbados in March 2007.

England have gone with 6 uncapped players in their squad whilst Sri Lanka has also gone for a mix of youth and experience.

The first match will be on June 17 at the Rose Bowl and will be in the exciting Twenty20 format.
