They're Taking Security Seriously

The Jamaica Information Service reports on the efforts of the region's Implementation Agency for Crime and Security is taking to protect residents and fans during the Cricket World Cup next year in the Caribbean.

Apparently they're putting legislation in place to allow agencies to se advanced passenger lists and to run security checks on any passenger they wish before they land in the Caribbean.

Furthermore, the 10 host venues, including Dominica would be designated as one domestic stats and hence, have a common visa regime from the period January 15 to May 15. This would allow visitors to get one visa for the tournament and not need to pass through immigration every time.
