Organisers Give Accommodation Reassurance
CMC Sports in New Delhi India, interviewed the CEO & MD of the CWC 2007 organisation about their ability to supply significant quantities of accommodation for the 2007 Cricket World Cup.
Dehring commented when asked about the percieved short-fall in rooms: "We certainly believe that there will be a fairly wide range of types of accommodation across the Caribbean to suit different pockets. We are talking about accommodation, from the villa programme, bed-and-breakfast and home-stay programme – they are going to be launched in individual countries very shortly – all the way through to cruise ships which have been booked and are actively on sale across the world."
From conversations I've had there does appear to be a shortage. Hopefully the reality of the situation is different.
